I have had a very similar journey in discovering the cause/ remedying my stomach issues. I’ve had every GI test in the books (multiple times) with no answers. Went through a 30 day period where I couldn’t keep any food down and lost 30 pounds. At this point they put me on Phenergan (used for pregnant women with hyperemisis and chemotherapy patients) which I still take twice a day every day… along with protonix for acid reflux and welchol to deal with IBS symptoms and lack of gall bladder (which was removed unnecessarily because they mistakenly thought this was the source of my stomach issues). I have Fibromyalgia and Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disease (an autoimmune condition similar to Lupus) and the UDCTD is probably the source of my stomach woes. I hope you are able to find some answers to help your stomach issues, I’m still looking for same!

Sorry to hear you’re dealing with something similar! The problem is that my test results are giving answers that are too all over the place. A swollen spleen? weird liver numbers? hypogammagloblulinema? positive low titer ANA? inflammation in the colon? Ah, I have it all … and still not all that much in the way of treatment.

hope you’re getting some answers soon!

    Miss Waxie,
I really hope they can figure out some sort of an answer for you!

Thanks for the comment on my post! I will try to keep that “doctor” out of my thoughts as much as possible.

    Hugs!

Like the creative comic, hate the confusion you must be feeling.
